Our pieces begin in the mineral-rich hills of central Portugal. Blended from native terracotta and kaolin clay, every vessel is cast into custom plaster molds, gently hand-trimmed along the rim, and fired twice.
At 1,280°C, the silica and clay particles fuse completely into vitrified non-porous stoneware. This ensures near-zero moisture absorption (under 0.3%), protecting your dinnerware against microwave thermal shock, dishwasher moisture retention, and cutlery markings.

Yes, 100%. Our stoneware is high-fired at 1,280°C, vitrifying the clay so that it absorbs almost zero water. You can wash them in standard residential or heavy-duty commercial dishwashers and use them in the microwave without fear of moisture cracking.
Unlike cheaper soft-matte ceramics that show gray lines (which is actually soft metal rubbing off onto coarse clay), our proprietary mineral glaze incorporates high-silica crystallization. It is harder than standard stainless steel flatware and resists metal marking through thousands of meals.
Yes, up to 450°F (230°C). We recommend avoiding thermal shocks from extreme temperature deltas (e.g., placing an ice-cold plate directly onto a flaming hot stovetop), but standard oven warming and roasting are fully supported.
